Professional and business services are transforming as the global economy continues to be affected by growing urbanisation. Intelligent automation, data analytics and remote working are providing opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance, however barriers caused by the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in local markets generate challenges. ESG risks, infectious diseases, cyber threats, and human capital management continue to impact.
case study: gender diversity market intelligence
As global talent shortages grow more acute, new ways of engaging and developing the business leaders of tomorrow are needed to deliver sustainable talent strategies for the future. Businesses are investing in their people but neglecting to address the issues of why women are leaving the workforce, and why women continue to be underrepresented in business at the senior level. The question is no longer why women are exiting the workforce, but rather, what can employers do to attract and retain talented women in their business.
Our client wanted to understand the external female talent market across 5 global hubs in several functions. We applied two core solutions for this client’s specific challenge. Firstly, we gathered market intelligence to understand the geographic talent pools and secondly, we proactively engaged with external female talent and gathered in-depth, multi-layered market research to understand attraction points for females, what women were currently experiencing in their current role, what was on offer for their career development and what were their aspirations. We shared statistics and visual representations and offered recommendations to introduce and improve attraction and retention in the geographic hubs considering the cultural differences. The client also received a breakdown of talent insights and engagement rate of each seniority level at each point in the process. The results from the competitive intelligence were multi-layered and rich with information.
